Research Commission
The Commission for Research and Young Academics (Foko) deals with research issues that are of particular importance for the promotion of young academics. In this context, it organises several events per semester under the name "Forum Forschung" - in presence or online - on topics that are of particular interest to the academic Mittelbau and are intended to promote exchange among young academics. These events deal with content-related as well as methodological and technical issues. Experts from the Faculty of Health Sciences and Bielefeld University, but also external experts, are invited to the events. The Foko attaches great importance to the academic mid-level staff submitting suggestions for possible topics and endeavours to implement these suggestions.
